Civic & Community Engagement Across the Eastern Coachella Valley & Salton Sea Region
Alianza Coachella Valley contracts with government agencies and other organizations to provide community engagement, communications, and other services to genuinely and authentically engage with our communities.
Special Projects include:
- Get out the vote! Alianza and our canvassing team works to get residents registered to vote, provide information about how to vote in upcoming elections, organize candidate forums, and more.
- Alianza engaged the Eastern Coachella Valley community through public meetings and direct communications in order to inform them of the formation of an Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD) and how it would impact their lives.
- The City of Coachella received a $22 million Transformative Climate Communities Program Grant to invest in projects that fight climate change, improve clean transportation, and improve the community’s sustainability. Alianza was awarded funds to provide community engagement and communications support throughout the project.
