“Alianza” or “Alliance” means a union of people and organizations working together for a common goal. Alianza Coachella Valley is a community-first nonprofit organization based in the Eastern Coachella Valley that is focused on empowering residents to improve their communities and fostering collaboration to accelerate solutions.
Our “roundtable” approach emphasizes collaborating across sectors—bringing together community members, government, businesses, philanthropy, and other nonprofits—to address the specific needs that our communities are asking for. By working together, we tackle the lack of investment in critical areas like the environment, infrastructure, healthcare, and education. This ensures that public funding is used effectively and that every community member has the opportunity to thrive.
Established in 2010 as Building Healthy Communities, Alianza Coachella Valley believes that our communities can only prosper when everyone has a voice in decisions that affect their lives. That’s why we help people become active participants in shaping policies and collaborate with the right stakeholders to secure much needed public funding priorities.
