
PATRICIA S. CARRILLO

Patricia S. Carrillo was born and raised in the Coachella Valley. She is a graduate of Coachella Valley High School and La Sierra University, where she earned her individualized bachelor’s degree in theology and the social foundations of Christian praxis, which combines theology, psychology, and music. Patricia has more than 10 years of experience in local and global community service and non-profit work. Patricia led Alianza’s Community Justice Campaign and Covid-19 response efforts prior to transitioning into her current role. She strives to make a sustainable and positive impact in her community and feels honored to be able to serve the Coachella Valley through Alianza and as a board member for Angel View.
Before joining Alianza, Patricia worked as a student chaplain at La Sierra University, youth pastor for a local church, admissions advisor for National University, and tutor for Palm Springs Unified School District. She is a restorative justice practitioner and mental health advocate who has volunteered on various occasions for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and other non-profits. Patricia has been a guest speaker for general, children, and teen sessions for various conferences, trainings, and events. She strongly believes that together we can make a positive impact in the lives of our families and communities while working to empower and bring about positive change for current and future generations.
